Cluster (Pôle de Compétitivité) Medicen Paris-Région

I-Stem is since the origin an actor of the Pole of Competitiveness Medicen Paris Région and four teams of the Institute are directly integrated in the IngeCELL program, set up in January 2006 and financed by the local authorities (in particular, for I-Stem by the Paris Area Regional Council) since October 2006. Marc Peschanski was designated by the partners of IngeCELL to coordinate the scientific and organization committee of the internal conferences of the network (the first conference joined together nearly a hundred participants on March 29, 2007) and of the “First International Symposium on Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research ”, a large international symposium which will be held in Evry, in Génocentre, of January 31 at February 2, 2008.
